what do you mean by you guys?!! im not a pac or mayweather fan. lets make that clear.

he imposes his own financial penalties because floyd failed to make weight. simple as that.

last time i checked, pacquiao has not failed a drugs test.

do you see where i am going with this?!

    • I would have no problem with floyds request, I would even back him up on that IF he didn't say PAC is easy work. When u go and say something like that repeatedly then go and ask for extra testing, all ur reasons for that gets thrown out the window and it just shows that U have doubt of beating that person.

I said "you guys" meaning those that are arguing against Mayweather wanting the testing.

Manny imposed weight penalties on Miguel Cotto and he had NEVER missed weight. Why did he go above the rules and do that? That's the point I'm driving home. Don't argue about Mayweather "making up his own rules" when Manny has done the same, a few times before.

          Neither did Shane Mosley.

But Floyd is known to come in over, what proof does floyd have of PAC being on steroids???

Wrong. The contract was amended to 147 prior to the fight and the amended contract was agreed to by Marquez. The agreement did feature a penalty for each pound over 144 to be paid to Marquez, but Floyd violated no commission rules and faced no penalties from the NSAC.

Absolutely !! Unequivocally !!! RIGHT !!! There has been and presently is DOUBT of beating Pac.

Its has HAD Jr in a terrible bind over the past few years. He fights gimmes for the money but avoids the big show

DOUBT and FEAR of losing that 0

But the problems have compounded. This run of back and forth, the OST, then the easy fight talk has the world waiting on the edge of what will JR do next !! All the talk has brought the attention on JR. The world by and large KNOWS what you said in the ending of your post is CORRECT,,,only the faithful fanboys of Jr disagree but the WORLD knows, its been played out in school yards for years.

IF Jr retires now it becomes a HUGE DUCK !!!!!!!

IF JR retires for good without getting into the ring with Pac, it becomes the biggest DUCK in the history of boxing

im not arguing against mayweather wanting testing. im arguing against him refusing to fight unless he gets extra testing.

pacquiao aint no saint either. there is a bit of a difference tho between imposing financial penalties for failing to make weight to make sure you still get paid than having extra testing.

your right about mosley. but that does not mean every other fighter is on drugs. Dont the NSAC do a blood test after the fight anyways?

                    in that article

"But after Friday's weigh-in, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer finally addressed the issue, telling ESPN.com, "The fight was contracted as a welterweight fight with an agreed upon weight of 144 pounds. However, there were pre-negotiated weight penalties built in."

so there was agreed upon weight penalties for failing to make weight, not that the fight was originally at 147.

How is it a difference? Manny makes his own rules when he wants, so why can't other fighters (who are at the very top of the sport) do the same? You don't see the rationale behind my previous post?

No, they don't. They've never have.
