why does people hate mayweather so much?

I have never read just such hate before. Im sitting here fairly reading and i can't understand for the life of me why would anyone not like a fighter who has the best talent in the world.

Its down to his fans, the bumsniffing *****s. There are hundreds on this forum and each one to a man is a racist buffoon with little or no education to speak of. They just constantly spew out the same tired old hokey ped theories day in, day out, and believe that the height of wit is an unfunny pic or gif bearing the words 'you mad'.

The hallmark of these ******s is that they have absolutely no knowledge of the sport whatsoever beyond Floyd, that is pretty much set in stone. They are clearly the worst, thickest and least knowledgeable posters anywhere on this site.

They arent boxing fans, just fanboys and for that reason I think Floyd cops a lot of hate on here, but I think the vast majority of that is done just to get a rise out of the drooling ******s that would quite readily get on their knees and suck Floyds ****.

Yes, I did consider that, but came to the conclusion that he acts like a douche because he IS a douche. I actually used to pull for Floyd, up until he dodged Hatton at 140 and the fact that he IS a douche became more readily apparent. Many people I know feel the same way, he has cost himself many fans by being a douche.

I've officially heard all the anti-Floyd stories now.

You will get a hundred different lies from posters. They'll say its because of his fans, he acts like a punk, he talks ****, he didn't fight this guy, blah blah blah. WHen in reality its just floyd is who they want to be but can't. If they recahed floyd's level they'd do the exact same things.

The funny thing is that he wants the "hate" (to sell fights, to put his name in the front page, to feel important, to be remember, you name it), but when he feels the hate then starts crying about it.....this guy is a man-child, and his fans "lives" through him.....acting like his ppv, cars, money are actually theirs, defending every thing that come out of his mouth, that is sad

It's his personality, not his boxing skills. I've said before that I believe his "money may" act is a character. This character is meant to be hated, and it makes him a lot of money. I've seen good sides to Floyd though. He feeds the homeless, gives people jobs (even though he doesn't really need to) I've seen him donate his stuff to charity and boxing gyms.

Even though a lot of people point out the people he has avoided, I believe he would beat most of them. I would even give him the odds to beat Pacquiao (Even though I'm a bigger Pacquiao fan.) I believe he is the most skilled, technical fighter I've seen in boxing. I don't conisder him an exciting fighter though, or much of a power puncher.

It's getting hard to seperate his "money may" character from the real him though. He's burning money, his multiple lawsuits, accusations of hitting his family members and threatening his children. I don't know how much of this is true because I don't know him (besides the money burning thing)

Why do people want to hate Mayweather? Because he wants to be hated. That's what makes him money. People want to see the bad guy lose. This is a factor in what makes his PPVs so big. Of course there are people who just love him and his skills too. If Mayweather was just a nice, modest guy, he wouldn't make as much money as he does.

I don't visit this site as much as I used to because it is overun by trolls and "*****s" and "*******s" as they all call each other. I find very few boxing fans on this site. I have never seen undeniable proof of certain issues brought up over and over again in these forums. I don't care about who's PPV numbers are bigger, or accusations, rumors, conspiracy theories. You know why? because It's not going to matter years from now. It's the actual fights I'm going to remember. Gatti vs. Ward, Corrales vs. Castillo, Morales vs. Barrera, De La Hoya vs. Vargas, Tyson vs. Douglas, Lewis vs. Rahman, Etc. You think i remember what the PPV numbers where for these fights? Hell no. These are the best memories I have of boxing. I just want to see good, clean, fair, exciting fights.
