    Punch to the Gut

    Hello Everyone!

I am a long time reader of Boxing Scene and it's forums, but never really engaged in a lot the discussions that go on here. I really enjoy though reading everyone's thoughts about everything that has to do with boxing. As you can see to the left, I joined in 2009 and have less than 40 posts I believe, but I've been reading long before then. I don't post as much, but really would like to be more involved with the boxing world and created a blog just solely about boxing. I call it "Punch to the Gut" and it is very new as my first post was about the Donaire-Narvaez fight which took place last weekend. I would like other boxing fans to take a look, comment on it, tell me your thoughts and let me know what your thoughts are whether it's on the blog comment section (preferably) or here in this thread. I am not trying to become a writer for boxing scene or ESPN or anything, just trying to share my thoughts, though I will admit if something like that were to happen, I will jump on it right away. I apologize if this is not allowed as I read the forum rules and saw nothing about this type of post. If it is against forum rules, please accept my apologies.

Thank you and let me know what you think!

dont think he should be compared to Clottey at all. Clottey fought at his natural weight of 147 unlike Narvaez who was moving up. There was no excuse on Clottey's part not to engage Pacquiao like he did against the likes of Cotto, Judah and Corrales. Clottey basically disgraced himself or fought the fight with an injured hand. (something i suspect)

i really have a hard time believing someone from Ghana could have been such a pu55y.

      Great! Thanks!

I see what you mean. I was just stating not necessarily a direct comparison to Clottey, just more that he was showing a defensive shell throughout the fight. I understand that that Narvaez was moving up, but for 12 rounds you have to throw more punches than what he did to win a fight, make a statement in a new weight class, and be recognized here on American soil. Just a thought. I never really thought of a hand injury. Was it ever stated by him or his team? I just clearly don't remember and just asking.
