How much does it bother you that no matter how much you talk like this, no one will ever agree with you, or like him?

That said, he's won every round since returning.

I think it's obvious if you've seen Ali-Wepner that Ali was carrying Wepner. Ali wasn't like Tyson or Bob Foster where he was looking to just knock a guy out and go home. Ali's talent was being an entertainer, and he picked the guy to just entertain the crowd with his speed and boxing.

When Wepner stepped on Ali's foot and Ali fell and was ruled to have been knocked down, Ali stepped on the gas and started punishing him.

Haha, yeah he was carrying him...he was carrying Henry Cooper too, and he was such a great entertainer that he so much as fought Chuck wepner. Howd he deserve a title shot? How did evangelista?

Which Cooper fight? Because it looked to me in the second fight Ali got down to business. The first one, Cooper got to him for sure. Ali had to pull some tricks out of his sleeve to win.

But you have to remember, it's not like today, Ali was fighting every couple of months back to back. Ali fought Wepner four months after the Foreman fight as a tuneup, just to play around. Then less than two months later he fought Ron Lyle, who despite losing to Jimmy Young was a hard punching dangerous contender.

Then a month later he fought Joe Bugner, no big whoop. But then he fought the last fight that meant anything in the division, the third Frazier fight just three months later.
