I hate that Oscar coasted for the last 3 rounds but he clearly boxed Tito silly for the majority of the fight. He made Tito look 1 dimensional and won that fight regardless of what the "official" scores were.

Those Brits that you speak of are a minority because any boxing fan with 2 good eyes and who is capable of being objective knows Oscar won that fight clearly.

Shame we never saw a return but Tito really hit his stride at 154 and Oscar wanted no part of him. Trinidad was a bit weaker at 147. He was pretty devastating at 160 against Joppy. Comapre that with Oscars fight against Sturm. I think Hopkins was the only middleweight capable of beating him.

Had to BuMp it's a Tito thread lol. I had the fight dead even My uncle had Tito by one. The Only thing I can say is the rds. Oscar won were more convincing that Tito's but at the end they won almost the same amount of rds.

It was a close fight with a one point swing in either direction. No one had anyone winning by more than a couple rounds. Even Oscar cheerleader Harold Lederman had him winning by only one point.

It was a shit fight where no one landed a meaningful punch and Tito was just getting hit with jabs early on following Oscar around until Oscar decided to stop fighting and lost like 3 or 4 rounds at the end.
