Most of you are whining way to much.

Boxing is what it is. Its not like it did not take along time to hash out its rule systems, in all their various forms. This system has given the fighter an almost unlimited income potential. That in itself will draw the highest quality of athlete.

The athletes income is only limited by his skill level. In other words his ability to command the public's attention by what ever means he can devise. Measured by live gate or PPV sales and at the highest level, both. That is supremely fair. After all, he is the one stepping in the ring at peril to his life.

Do the systems work perfectly all the time, No. Who cares, nothing is fool proof. I watch boxing because when its on , it is truly " The Greatest Show on Earth."

You knot heads think you can fix something that aint broken.

Any Sport with athletes that can make 50,000,000.00 off one nights work is doing OK.

Well what else was Bob suppose to say? He makes his living from this sport he is going to say its headed in the right direction.

Despite what people here say, Arum is not the biggest problem in boxing. Arum is a promoter and he is going to do what he has to to make money.
The biggest problem with boxing is the fighter themselves. Many of whom fight once or twice a year, want big money and easy competition.
We can talk all we want about the alphabet belts, Top Rank, GB, and they too share some of the blame, but ultimately the fighters have to be the ones to take the responsibility.

uhh A legendary greedy fat bastard that peddles garbage matchups maybe,have you seen the last few manny fights???? the only thing manny is carrying is busloads of cash into Arum's side pocket , hes making arum richer than ever but for the actual sport he aint doingg shiat in terms of providing or participating in good meaningful fights, having your name in the headlines and endlessly hyped to sell ppv's,and being a great fighter that participates in great matchups are not the same thing.
