Hard to say exactly where his prime started. But we do know where it's going to end.

The day he signs on that dotted line to be fed to the wolf without the assistance of his "special shakes".

The USADA is going to effectively end Pacquiao's prime by forcing him to fight with his system clean of illegal substances for the first time in years. Then and there is where we'll see the REAL Pacquiao.

mosley, margarito, clottey, cotto, hatton, JMM etc....all lost to a 1 dimensional, past-his-prime, overrated midget.

      how sad

I would say around the Hatton and Cotto fights. His early fights were based a lot on his speed, explosiveness and power in his left hand. I think he has become a more rounded fighter. This is a good thread. He's had such a long career and so many big fights. It's almost like he's had 2 careers. It's quite impressive.

I think after his lost to Morales, the serious juice came after that.

Ive always posted manny is clean until its proven hes dirty. I actually am giving him credit for peaking again at a higher weight. But of course you missed that.

think of it like this, would the Pac that fought Cotto beat the Pac that fought Mosley? The answer is no.
Since moving up to welterweight, the best version of Pacquiao would have to either be the one from the De la Hoya fight or the Hatton fight...or hell, even the Cotto fight.

It's not to say he's looked terrible in his last three fights (because he hasn't), but he's stayed relatively the same or gone down in those fights slightly.

Pacquiao from Cotto fight>Pacquiao from Mosley fight

Since the De La Hoya fight I think Pacquiao has been in his prime
