what you forget is that Alvarez is still just a kid. Alvarez is only 21 years old. At that age, you do dumb things, I am older now and I wouldn't do something like that now, but when I was younger I didn't have a handle on my emotions. And I've fought over a girl when I was younger.

I totally agree with this. If any hot woman or celebrity like Kim Kardashian made a pass at anyone on these boards they would go with her even though she is married. So nobody should try to bull **** and say they wouldnt do it

HE'S 21!! He probably grew up fighting on the streets of Mexico. He's not a diplomat, he's a fighter.

I am not saying what Canelo did was right, what I am saying is that it's not that big of a deal. He gets into a street fight and you want to crucify him.

It was a street fight. He might be a professional fighter, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still a kid.

Haha, I am not insecure at all. I haven't been in a street since I think I was 21. I am over 30 now.

I am no tough guys and never claimed to be, but yes, when I was younger I liked to party and s h i t happens. At that age your emotions are not completely in control.

So, I can understand why Canelo might have attacked Solis if in fact Solis was hitting on his girl. At that age, I might have done the same thing. You ask me now, and no way I do something like that.

Also, these guys know each other. Canelo approached Solis and told him that he was messing with his girl or something like that, and Canelo, with all that 21 year old emotion, attacked him.
