Yes. Floyd truly knows boxing. Therefore he knows that the man named Pacquiao will defeat him. Pac has that intangible gift that a man like 'Money' will wrestle with like a demon on fire.
Floyd's ego requires him to retire undefeated as opposed to 40 mil wealthier with a loss.
Manny gives away more cash then Mayweather takes home.
If Floyd has no desire to test himself in the Holy waters of the sport, then the Congressman should retire with his health, wealth and reputation and leave this field of complaining, ego driven goons, behind.
    FAIL
*Mayweather ducking the best? He fought an undefeated Hatton, as soon as Hatton called him out after the Castillo fight. Came out of a 2 year retirement and shut out Marquez who had given Pacquiao hell for 2 fights and was considered the #2 p4p boxer at the time. Then May got **** for fighting a "small" Marquez, so he takes on Mosley after Mosley's destruction of Margarito where Mosley looked amazing. Then he comes back after 16 months off and fights a young champion in Ortiz coming off of the best performance of his career.

*Since his move up to the Welterweight Division . . . please name 1 opponent who Manny has faced who was coming off and impressive win???? Just 1???? Thats what I thought.

*Manny is writing his legacy right now. And it's not a great one. Since 2008 he has fought Floyd left overs in De La Hoya, Hatton, Mosley, (Marquez is next), Clottey who presented no real threat, and Cotto, Margarito who had both just suffered the worst KO losses of their career with just 1 warm up fight prior to Pacquiao. He'll also be remembered as the guy who turned down the biggest fight in the history of the sport over a "blood test". THATS WHAT MANNY WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR.

*About the money . . . no Manny does not "give away" more than Floyd makes. Your boy Pacquaio is in financial trouble, read up. He had to ask Arum for an advance in September for his November fight with Marquez. Manny will make 20 million guaranteed for this fight, he will automatically give 30% of that to Bob Arum for his promotional fee. Floyd made 25 Million for his last fight with Ortiz, being his own "Mayweather promotions". Against DLH, Hatton, Mosley and Marquez, Floyd sold more PPV's and made more $ than Manny P did. The truth is in the numbers.

*Manny, Top Rank, and Freddie Roach are the ones with no desire what so ever to test themselves. They realize Manny is a cash cow, and have no desire in testing him against a real prime opponent that poses any kind of threat.

QA translation: If Mayweather responds to Pacquiao's willingness to fight at all, including his own blood tests that end early and consistently for some reason, he might end up like his crackhead dad and can't bear the thought of that happening.

LOL at Roach saying Ortiz had a good fight plan against Mayweather. Exactly what plan was that? Because all I saw him doing was following Mayweather around the ring getting blasted by one lead right hand after another while swinging and missing.

I constantly read posts from the Pacquaio faithful claiming Pac would destroy Mayweather. I constantly read posts from the Mayweather faithful claiming Mayweather would make easy work of Pac. IMO, anyone thinking Pac would blow through Mayweather like he's done his last couple opponents is ridiculous. And anyone thinking Mayweather would beat Pac without any anxious moments is equally crazy.

They always throw Floyd Mayweather's name out there when they have no interest in fighting him anytime soon. As long as Mayweather shows no signs of slowing down, they will continue to keep Pac far far away.

I don't like the idea of him fighting Ortiz, there needs to be some freshness and not Manny and Floyd always fighting the same people but avoiding each other.

If the obvious megafights against Mayweather does not finalize in 2012 either, then I would prefer Bradley (and Floyd vs Khan) to set it up, but I wouldn't complain about going for the big money in an easy fight against Senchenko either, at least it would be a unification bout.

The only bout that should be spoken about is Mayweather. Both sides need to put pressure on each other and show that they are only thinking about that fight.

Imagine if Floyd started sayin how Mosley might be an option or Cotto straight after his beatdown at Pac's hand? It would be an avalanche of hate!

No way should Ortiz be in contention until he has bounced back...Bradley has done nothing at Welter and didn't want the Khan fight. I would accept Khan fighting Pac/May more because he has shown a willingness to clean up his division but has been denied by factors out of his control.

The fact is Mayweather/Pacquiao vs any of these guys are in essence decent fights, but because they haven't fought each other the fights don't have the same luster and fans aren't happy to see these fights as all we want to see first and foremost is them face EACH OTHER!

                    Ortiz

i actually wouldn't mind seeing Ortiz and pac. This would be a chance for Pac to showcase himself against a good fast strong younger fighter for a change. Ortiz is much better right now than anyone Pac has fought in his previous 5 fights

I think Ortiz did in fact have a good plan against Mayweather but simply lacked the skill or mental toughness to implement it properly. His game plan was to back Mayweather up into the ropes and go to work from there. He knew that he should limit boxing Mayweather in the center of the ring and he knew not to keep Mayweather against the ropes because he could get countered. It's too bad when he was in the center of the ring he couldn't box with May, it seems like nobody can.

I think Pacquiao will implement a similar strategy of backing Mayweather into the ropes and going to work on his body and then applying pressure upstairs. I highly doubt he'll seriously try to outbox Mayweather but if theirs anybody who could give May a run for his money in the center of the ring its Pacquiao.
