Chavez needs to stop eating burritos and face the reality. He had a 20-pound advantage over a B-class fighter in Zbik and still DIDN'T manage to knock his ass out. In comparison, Martinez weighs just about the same as his recent opponents and he clocks them into submission. Chavez had better brace himself. He's gonna become taco meat come March next year.

How so? He couldn't even KO Zbik. I mean Chavez Jr is pretty good at blocking punches though.... with his face.

MODRO 11. You are just a new poster and you have already learned the style of thhe posters here. Exaggeration to make an often unfactual point. How was Zbik 20 lbs lighter than Chavez? However lighter he was, it was mainly water. they both made 160 lbs.

And, most telling, Zbik's last 20 or so, fights (his record is 30-1) have ALL been just a tiny fraction under 160, and well over 159 (like, e.g. 159.75).

Any half observant person would say that he was a career middleweight.

And I don't see a 20 lb difference in weight.

Zbik has never even remotely been close to being KO'd only been down one time in a very early fight, a 4 rounder.

It was 15 pounds actually. Not that far off. Chavez was 180 and Zibik was 165 according to the unofficial HBO scales. So it was really a Super middleweight vs a Jr middleweight that night.

                reach
                Martinez - 75
                Dirrell - 75
                Froch - 75
                Kessler - 74
                Taylor - 74
                AA - 72
                Ward - 71

Martinez mid camp for Williams II was 176. Froch walks around under that weight, Ward walks around at that weight. I don't have proof for Kessler but i can't see him being any heavier than Ward or Froch.

Martinez is taller than AA, and 1.5-2 inches shorter than Ward, Kessler, Taylor with a longer reach than all of them. Anyone who insists that he can't fight at SMW is incorrect, anyone insisting that he's a small MW doesn't deserve to be taken seriously.

In the ring Zbik was 165 and Chavez 180. In general more European and Asian fighters cut less weight or even walk around at their fight weight. Golovkin for example walks around at 160lbs. Froch the low 170's, against AA he was 169 in the ring.

I'm pretty sure none of them were as big as Chavez was though... pretty sure he came in at 180

Chavez really doesn't want this fight. Maravilla will destroy him.

HYPE JOB & FULL OF S H I T Chavez Jr says he's not scared of Martinez, but in order to fight him, the money's got to be right.. Well what Chavez jr is referring to is since he's gonna take the WORST BEATING of his life, he wants to secure & make enough money to retire..But in reality, every time Martinez's name is mentioned around Chavez Jr, he S H I T'S IN HIS PANTS OR WHAT EVER HE'S WEARING!!!
