Maquez is as fat now as he was before Floyd, so hopefully those specialists are certiied nutritionists that can divert his attention from the tacos.

look at this picture, where he weighed in a 138 lbs against likar ramos. As you can see there is flab hanging on out, no way will Marquez look good at 144 lbs.

So is he scheduled to see specialists or has he been seeing the specialists for his entire camp? Makes no sense to see one at this time as its only a few weeks until the fight.

I've been telling everyone. This is by far his best training camp of his entire career. They are both going to bring it and it will turn out to be a classic fight. I cannot wait for this fight. It'll be war. Marquez will also showcase his new WW power so that will be interesting to watch.

Weren't you dissing Mayweather for fighting Marquez back in 2009? What makes this fight any more different...other than Marquez being older, slower and even more "past it"?

Once again I think a pac opponent is looking at the wrong part of Pacs game to beat him at. Yeah he needs to be stronger than he normally is at 130/135 but what he really should be focusing on is the best foot and hand speed he can bring to the ring. Pac is used to fighting bigger, much slower guys now and he himself has slowed down. If Marquez can bring in an element of surprise, speed, it raises his chances greatly. I also have to say that not everyone can be ripped nor does it necessarily indicate more strength. Marquez really is a guy who should be fighting at 130 pounds, not sure if he can truly carry 143 at weigh in with a ripped physique without sacrificing his speed.

I think he should give up some weight for speed and stamina. Be able to make Pac move ALL NIGHT like he did in the first two fights.

Yeah, but when Mayweather fights the same guy, at the same weight, it's a tragedy. This fight is and was a farce from the word go. Manny could have at least fought him at 140lbs. We've already seen that he isn't NEARLY the same fighter above that weight. In particular, with two more years of age.

Anything other than a stoppage by Manny is an underwhelming performance, IMO.

I don't know why people care about what nutritionists Marquez has because we ALL know the outcome of this fight. If Marquez makes it to the final bell without sustaining a lot of damage I'll be thoroughly impressed and if he were to win I'd be shocked. It is my hope that Marquez can still make this fight somewhat competitive but I doubt that's going to happen. Still I'll keep my fingers crossed.
