I surely want to see omar fight at 115, I want to know if he's got what it takes to be a great 115 champ outside of his country.

Donaire seemed pretty happy to maintain the status quo and continue to jab the gloves. Being the larger fighter he is also responsible for this.

what's the point of having brilliant defense if there's no offense along with it?

im pretty sure nonito was allowing himself to be hit to open the guy up

kinda like sergio vs barker, sergio was putting his head out there to the dude was at least throw a punch

If you have no intention of trying to win, don't take the fight. Fights like these are why boxing died and why it was so easy for the UFC to take over, fans want action, they don't care about the fighers' feelings or motivations. The crowd in attendance paid to see a fight, not one guy try to advance his super flyweight career by putting his hands up for 12 rounds with no attempt at offense. Look, Darren Barker kept his hands up for 11 rounds, but at least he threw the entire fight, he looked for openings, and tried to exploit them. Narvaez fought like a man for 1 1/2 rounds before getting hit cleanly a few times in the 4th and realizing that he never wanted to fight in the first place so he kept his hands up and picked up a paycheck.

People seem to forget that Omar was fighting a GIANT in there... i dont know what did you expect, he showed great boxing skills... and sure he could have let his hands go more, but donaire didnt do **** either.
Donaire tried the dempsey roll once with 0 success... it was lame... i laughed a lot...

Actually... he did have good defense. He was catching Nonito a few times in the earlier rounds.... but he was barley throwing is what turned me off. I'm still mad at the fight though... he didn't do that much to warrant a return to the U.S unless it's somebody challenging him for his belt.

Good luck, it seems its your fault a bigger, better, faster, stronger, and younger fighter couldnt figure out how to look impressive against you.
