It's the usual 'Pacquiao is distracted' angle they push whenever he has a fight. Last year, it was the election distracting him from a Clottey fight, then it was his hectic life in general distracting him from Margarito. This time, it's his financials that are distracting him from a JMM fight.

He's the highest earning athlete in the world BEFORE the JMM fight

He bought a $9 million mansion in June
He bought a $23 million hotel 2 weeks ago
And he's zooming around LA in a brand new $250K ferrari these days.
If he's broke, someone forgot to tell him. Then again, people around here think he's getting advances from Arum to make it look like he's rich

Well there is broke "broke" and rich people "broke"...I wouldn't be surprised if Pacquiao is rich people "broke" as it happens to many many people with sizable incomes...he might often be broke in the sense that he needs more money to come in, but he is by no means broke "broke"Comment
