To be honest...........Manny is a fraud for fighting all of these catchweight fights.

    Fight Martinez at 154.

He should have fought Delahoya at 154, Cotto at 147, margarito at 154.
The Dela Hoya fight was fair. Oscar has fought as high as middle weight. Plus he is the one that challenged a lightweight. So Oscar came down two weight classes and Manny went up two weight classes. That seems only fair. Oscar has himself to blame if he was drained.

Majority of Margaritos career he fought at welterweight. Maybe you don't know this but from 2002-2007 Margarito was the WBO welterweight champion. The same champion that defeated Martinez, Cintron, and Cotto at welterweight. Plus the 13 times that Margarito was fighting or defending the welterweight title 8 of those times he came in under 147. And before the Mosley fight Margarito was still on a rampage and was favored to beat Mosley. He loses to Shane and now all of a sudden he is washed up.

Not saying you think this way but I hate the way these ignorant so called boxing fans think. As soon somebody lose or gets knocked out buy a great fighter all of a sudden he is a bum or is damaged goods. What sense does that make. Wladamir Klitschko got knocked out 3 times by lesser fighters. Does that make him a bum or damage goods? Vitali was stopped twice by injuries in the ring and "retired" because of body ailments. Does that make him a bum or washed up?

Now the Cotto fight I don't know why everybody is making a big deal about it when Cotto has never once complain about making the weight. Now at the time, Cotto was the champion and he could of refused. But he didn't. His previous fight with Clottey he weighed in at 146, so they agreed on 145. People has to remember welterweight is 141-147. A fighter can come in lighter than that as long as they don't exceed the weight limit.

If Pac should give anybody a payday from the MW division it should be Pirog. Pirog has balls and doesn't duck or dodge people like the plague.

        Martinez does.

And Team martinez is full of ****, they said 15 days after the Barker fight they would announce one of the biggest fights of the last 20 years and not only do we not hear anything but his advisor or whoever said that they were just rumors.

Do you pay attention to how much of this sport revolves around you? Last week, HBO Sports replaced its president with the guy who had you on Showtime for your last fight. Middleweight champion Sergio Martinez says he wants to fight you. Junior-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley left his promoter, and turned down more than $1 million to fight Amir Khan, thinking he has a shot to be your next opponent.

"That's my promoter's problem. Whatever the TV stations do is up to them. My job is to prepare for fights, to get in shape and put on a good show. If Sergio Martinez can get to 147 pounds, why not? We can negotiate a weight. I really don't know anything about Bradley's style, but I'll fight him. OK? Have a nice day."

If Pac always give 17 lbs weight advantage or more to his opponent like the Margarito fight. It won't take too long and we will see him end in the hospital or it might be worst. Pac is the cash king and to fight him, you just won a lottery so you must do to his bidding not the other way around. Welterweight Pac doesn't need middleweight Martinez. You got it?

ANYONE dangerous. Remotely dangerous. Needs to take themselves out of a comfort zone to fight Pacquiao.
that's a pretty big double standard. Instead you want pac to campaign above the limit in which he already said he would not venture again? Pac makes the rules just like Floyd does for his fights.

Floyd last two fights - Weak minded Ortiz that had 1 fight at WW and JMM a bloated LW that he eventually outweighed not only during fight night but WEIGH-IN as well.

Then you take a MW that just ducked a legitimate opponent with the biggest payday he would make to date. Yet it's ok to take PAC above 147 where he has campaigned and NOT ONCE came in weigh-in at 147?

You "boxing fans" are the real joke. Don't you get sick of your ****** comments? I know most of you don't have a college degree....better yet high school drop outs that couldn't even get a simple GED. Love some of you on boxingscene. Entertaining how ****** you really are!

I think, on the contrary, that it's good answer from him. Straightforward and to the point, no bluster, no boasting, no 4 letter words etc. And especially good since he is still not fluent in English. Likely the writer has spruced it up a little.

What were you expecting him to saw in answer to that paericular question?? I wonder?
