An IBF junior middleweight eliminator, for the number two position, has been set for November 18th at the Miami Airport Convention Center in Miami, Florida. Cuban boxer Giorbis Barthelemy (25-8-2, 10KOs) will face Charles Whittaker (37-12-2, 23 KOs) in the main event of show being promoted. Whittaker has fought 23 times and only lost once since 2001, a majority decision to Troy Rowland in April of 2004. Barthelemy had his share of ups and downs, winning some big fights and losing several others. In his last outing he scored an upset second round knockout of Derek Ennis.
