Unlike the others ****ting in your thread, ill answer your question. Even though you pretty much answered yourself in the few sentences of your post... If you dont like a FIGHT, then its probably not for you...

You should want to see this fight for the history alone. After 2 very closes wars we have a chance to see a third and hopefully something that will really draw a line between the 2 fighters.

Sure the timing isnt ideal and im sure theres other things that could be said against this fight, but it should be a good scrap.

Yes Floyd made Marquez look terrible, so what? That doesnt remove the history between pac/marquez and doesnt answer any question as to which of those 2 should call the other daddy. This is a fight to put an end to some unanswered questions.

So, in my opinion, thats why this fight is worth watching.

Supposedly because both fighters took punishment.

Guess Leonard vs Hearns, Ali vs Frazier, Taylor vs JCC along with every other great fight was mindless brawling too.

maybe you should watch ballet or synchronized swimming instead of boxing.

I guess he doesn't like closely contested high action fights.

Funny you bring up Mel/JCC. I was watching it this morning. I feel bad for Mel. He was out at the end, but he did get up.

A true great fight, that fight took his career. Don't think the TS will like it though.

Taylor boxed a great fight, but was too brave for his own good. Very harh for his that Steele called a halt to proceeding with only 2 sec left but Taylor was not responding to him

We all want to see Pacman vs Mayweather. Who is going to waste money to see these two fight again? After the way Money Mayweather dominated Marquez in his fight, why would I want to see Pacquaio fight him again?
the first two were not mindless brawling at all

if u knew anything about the game u wouldnt think that

marquez and pac showed focus determination and plenty of heart and marquez showed tecnical and tactical brilliance nulifing pacs moer impressive athletic abilties at times

those were two of the best fights of the past ten years IMO

this has gopt to be a troll thread

You **** heard me right the first time. No one gives a **** about Pacman beating Marquez. Mayweather proved it was an easy task. He made the top 5 p4p fighter look like nothing. Who would care to watch him fight the " anointed " top p4p fighter?

And yes you idiots. The last two fights were full of mindless brawling. Just letting your fist go with no kind of defense. This is called mindless brawling. Perhaps the reason why last night's fight with Donaire and Narvaez was a stinker for Donaire fans.

Narvaez didn't engage in mindless brawling. Instead choosing to not take many chances in order to avoid being knocked out. Making the " anointed " fighter miss and also tagging his ass a few times. Proving that though he moved up in weight class, he could still go toe to toe with Donaire.

In Donaire's opinion this was a disappointment. But Narvaez was a much better boxer than him imo. He's just smaller with less power. A smart boxer beats a ****ing ****** brawler any day. But if you prefer to watch two boxers swing for the fences with no kind of defense or stategy, be my guest to Pacquiao vs Marquez 3.

Perhaps the problem is, maybe some of you don't understand what boxing actually is. The purpose is to kick the other guy's ass and AVOID getting your ass kicked. Not kicking the other guy's ass while at the same time getting your ass kicked. Complete opposite of boxing.

Narvaez just showed us boxing at it's best. Sure he was not going to beat the young guy at a bigger weight and reach advantage. But he pretty much shut down what Donaire tried to do to him. But I guess you would prefer that Narvaez was put on the canvas. It's just too bad. Due to the dominance of Mayweather, his fights are not exciting. He just beats the **** out of the other guy and leaves them no chance.

If you like brawling instead of boxing, watch the UFC.

Too much Philly in old Mel. I was surprized that his corner was telling him that he had to win round 12 in order to win the fight as well.
