How the hell will Brewster overpower Wlad? I am pretty sure that Brewster still remembers the sound beating that Wlad delivered for 5 rounds, you don't forget this kind of thing. He will try to jump Wlad in the first round, get tied up, and will be picked apart by Wlad's jab and right hand and KO'd by the 7-8 round. The only hope for Brewster is Wlad gassing himself out again and we all saw that Wlad overcame that issue.

Agreed. Wlad will be more careful and win.

I pray to God that they make Brewster a 3-1 favorite just like they did Sam Peter, i could use a couple thousand bucks.

Brewster would get beat soundly by Wlad in the rematch. Wlad's knew fighting style that he implemented against Peter wasn't meant to knock Peter out. Wlad was going for the decision against arguably the best puncher in the division bar none. Samuel Peter possess's great power in BOTH hands.

In the rematch, I see Wlad neutralizing the left hook by Brewster and knock him out within 7-8 rounds. Wlad won't go out guns a blazin' like he did the 1st time with Brewster like his old trainer told him to do. He will be more composed and won't throw as many power shots. Would be a good fight nonetheless and I wouldn't care whatever the outcome would be. Both are top heavyweights in my book.

Your opinion is not only meaningless.....but I wasted a post responding to that.
I din't know Wlad was gonna hug Pete. Shyt, Pete dropped him 3 times on ta process only landing possibly 10 shots on Wlad. IMPRESSIVE. LOL! Or Wlad's chin is jest garbage.

if brewster had only a slightly weaker chin and almost as much heart, brewster would not have survived the 1st fight. and wlad's decision over some1 like sam peter give me the hint of "if wlad can do that to peter, just imagine what he could do to brewster".

I smell biased. Are you serious? Although Pete hits harder than Brewster (one shot), Brewster has that fast speed and punch combinations to trouble Wlad. And as we all know, if you land one big shot on Wlad, Wlad fans are praying that he don't get dropped. Brewster would connect and he'll follow up. He will be aware of ta things Wlad did to Pete which was HUG and Brewster won't let that. Now that Brewster's confidence is at its peak, I see Brewster winning once again. Not to mention, that maybe Wlad got scared of Brewster becuz he got KTFO. Same thing as him gettin scared of Sanders afta Sanders smothered him!!!!

Oh please Manny_P. That's a ludicrious statement. Let me explain why.

For the first 5 rounds Wladimir put on a beating on Brewster. Brewster was tough, overcame adversity and knocked out Wlad who had punched himself out. Boxing is 90% mental and fighters just dont forget beating that happens to them wether it be in sparring or professional or even the amateurs.

Like in the Peter fight, Wladimir will neutralize the left hook, he did it with Peter so why can't he do it with Brewster. Wlad's team recognized Peter's money punch as the left hook so his guard was ALWAYS up even when he was tired. Wlad will go his slow pace once again on Brewster and use his skillful clinching like the great Lennox Lewis did.

Wlad will sap Brewster's energy while jabbing and throwing quick, effective 1-2's. I don't see the fight lasting longer then 8 rounds to be honest.

Where was that fast speed and punch combination in their first fight? I am not degrading Brewster's abilities, I respect him for his heart, chin and power, but you make it sound like Wlad is a 5-year old kid in the ring. He has just as much (and much more) heart, speed and power. What he doesn't have that Brewster has is chin but Wlad seemed to find a cure for that problem. As I said before, I think it's a 50/50 fight.

Wow, some of you REALLLLLLLY need to watch the Peter Wlad fight again.

He escaped from another TKO loss by the skin of his teeth, and won a fight in which he won 9 rounds to 3 by three points.

That was by no means a statement of any kind.

He looked akward, and unsure of himself again.

Yes he showed resolve and heart getting up off the canvass, but the fact remains he was in with a green 24 year old who couldn't sustain a flurry, and he was on the canvass three times.

It was progress, but far from a fight that should be giving you all as much confidence as you seem to be taking from it.

Brewster might not hit as hard as Peter, but it's certianly close. And he also puts punches together much better than Peter, and also has the lungs to throw flurries.

Wlad is stunned easilly by big shots, and loses his legs. If Brewster stuns him, he'll go for the kill like Peter was unable to.

This is a very even match up, and many of you are basing your picks off a very skewed memory of Wlad's last fight.
