damn what a shame, Nonito looked like **** and got booed out of NYC....Arum is mostly to blame for this i guess but i never expected in my wildest dreams for Narvaez to have zero interest in winning the fight. Jabbing and then running away, the few big right hands he through Nonito was able to avoid.

Narvaez is a very good lil fighter & acually Made Nonito look regular tonight. Dude came up from from a lower wt class & was like 4 or 5 inches smaller than nonito. Several pounds lighter. Looked like he outboxed him thru out the fight too. Touched him w/ shots to the head. ND's face was knicked the **** up from being tagged for 12 rds. Nonito couldn't impose his will & all those physical advantages. #respect

Narvaez got hit hard, but he has an iron jaw like old argentinean greats as Locche, Monzon, and Castro.

The plan was for Donaire to punch himself out and if he was weight drain he may have gotten him in the later rounds. Donaire was drained, and said it was his last fight at bantam.

Would i have got my money worth sitting ringside if Narvaez would get knocked out within five as both Montiel and Darchinyan?

Where would i agree is that the final three rounds Narvaez could have gone balls out, but he still the current super flyweight champion, and has defended his titles 19 times, if you count his flyweight run. I actually think his techinical style may give Koki Kameda another bantamweight some fits.

Those who think Narvaez won a round are dillusional! U can't win a rd when u avg 24 punches a round! The Donaire is bigger excuse is getting old, if u think ur guy can't hang with him than don't put him in! HBO probably ripped Narvaez contract for future events 100 prcnt! I actually like Narvaez and would love to see him fight again. He probably would've traded more if he wasn't fighting such a big, skilled fighter. Narvaez's technique is really solid and I don't think he disappointed his Argentine fans; Donaire was just too strong and too skillful.

Of course he was strong, he was 130+ last night, skillful not that much he was supposed to walk all over this midget and he couldn't do it do to the fact that the little old man know hoe to box.
