If Cotto Beats Margarito What Is Next For Him?

Of those options I think Molina would nice and Bundrage would be a nice unification. BTW I left names like Canelo, Pacquiao and Mayweather out because I don't think any of those fights will happen before the summer of 2012. If Pacquiao beats Marquez Bradley is next, Mayweather fights only once a year and I think that will be Khan and we know GBP won't put their prospect against Cotto or anyone with a chance at beating him.

I've been homering for Cotto/Wolak since the beginning...that's what I want to see, a straight barn burner

Honestly I'd like to see him retire if he wins the rematch. He's had a nice career. Grabbing one more title belt, avenging the Margarito loss, then going out seems a fitting enough ending. He's been through some tough wear and tear, lost his father not too long ago, and should he win the rematch, has nothing more to prove. Don't expect him to go too far at 154 lbs, and there's nothing for him if he wanted to go back to 147 at this point.

I would hope for a Vanes fight,if he can beat Marga's..But he'll most likely fight K-9 the safe opponent imo..

I'd still like to see Mayweather-Cotto at 154 for the WBA title. It would give Amir Khan a little more time to progress too and we could see that in early 2013 if Floyd isn't retired by then.

This bothers me slightly. Yes he's earned the respect of fans and possibly a spot in the hof but if he goes out, I want to see him take on atleast one more big name, or attempt to unify the division before he loses, until then.

He's not getting past Margarito unscathed, if he gets past him at all. Whatever world class fight is left in Cotto I expect to be gone after the rematch, even if he does win it. Of course if he was to pull a shocker and run through Margarito quickly or cruise to an easy decision without taking any damage, I'd love to see him take another fight. I just don't think that's going to happen.
