STRUGG has gotten banned so many times with so many alts over the last couple months...seriously like 1/4th the votes in his polls are probably from him

And yeah sorry for the hijack Cash Cow...this is a good thread. I had no idea Floyd landed that high on JMM compared to what Pac did.

Most people do think Pacquiao lost against Marquez twice.

The numbers support Marquez' wins as well as one simply watching both fights. Manny's 3 knockdowns in the first down heavily swayed the judges, but it should not have got him a draw when Marquez practically won the rest of the rounds in the first fight.

The second fight was an even better performance by Marquez, with only one knockdown. Regardless, the judges gave Pacquiao a win this time and not even a draw. Which is ridiculous because Marquez boxed better, got knocked down less but lost instead of even getting a draw that time around.

We all know why it happened, and it sure wasn't because Pacquiao actually beat or outboxed him. Arum was creating his next star and sometimes there has to be collateral damage. Gift decisions will play a role in that scenario.

I don't like Marquez' chances in this upcoming fight ONLY because I don't know how well he's aged. Its 3 years later. Pacquiao is having Marquez come up to WW. Its just not a well made fight for fans who understand what's really happening.

Roach, Arum and Pacquiao manipulate EVERY aspect of a fight to get EVERY possible advantage while attempting to seem like they are the "small guy" stepping up to bigger challenges.

Of course its bull****, but the boxing brass has been able to sell it to the peasants.

As for Floyd landing so many punches. Shame he couldnt knock JMM down having landed so many punches. And i suppose its easier to land punches on someone who is bloated. Im suprised Floyd didnt land more than Pac.
well he did knock him down, once. Pac threw over 600 punches in PAC-JMM2 and landed 100 less punches than Mayweather and still got 1 knock down.

At the end of the day, its pointless.
If Pacquiao losses, yes it will hurt a slight bit the excitement behind the fight but its still a fight I want to see. Pacquiao losing to Marquez doesnt mean I'm going to give Floyd credit for it.
1..hatton is not a counter puncher like JMM & Mayweather and he cant throw going backwards like JMM & Mayweather.

2...This is perfect comparison because JMM & Mayweather are both counter punchers. the difference is Mayweather more skilled, faster, bigger, stronger, and smarter. So in fact this is a perfect analogy.

Everyone saw the surprise in Manny Pacquiao's face when they called his name as the winner. He knew he got his ass whooped. If Manny thought he won that fight, it was by an eyelash. Just like it was. If Marquez beats Pacquiao, it would only add fuel to Floyd's fire. I would certainly say that Manny is exactly what it he is, a media creation. Everyone other than an extreme Pacquiao fan, aka a *******, knows that Floyd will destroy Manny. If Manny can get outboxed by an old Erik Morales, he would get humiliated by the best to ever do it. Hate Floyd all you'd like to but there's no way to deny his in ring ability. It took Pacquiao 18 fights and some EPO to get his fighting skills up to a certain level. Floyd was born to fight and raised in the gym.

The perfect anology is how many punches marquez (the counter puncher) landed on Pacquiao and pacquiao on him. Floyd vs Marquez is counter puncher vs counter puncher which had Marquez doing something he isnt acostumed to and was coming forward, throwing first and trying to cut off the ring. That fight has no meaning in this comparison. If Marquez was to do the same thing he did with Floyd against pacquiao, he wouldnt last 3-4 rounds.

Just want to let you know, I'm not in favor of Pacquiao here nor do I think he will beat Floyd, I'm just saying that comparing how many punches Pacquiao & Mayweather landed on Marquez is meaningless cuz they are different matchups.
