I thought he was gonna fight in August. Oh well, time to wait again, hopefully it actually happens in December 30th. But who's gonna watch that? Other than me and the other 10 Taylor fans on this site. That's like in a busy holiday week where people are out hanging around. What's up with boxing locations/dates/PPV's this year? It's like Boxing doesn't want people to watch/attend the matches. Alexander vs Bradley in Michigan, Hopkins vs Dawson in Staples Center and PPV, Ward vs Froch in New Jersey, now a fight in a holiday week which isn't gonna get much views.

I was watching a few classic Taylor fights recently, he was considered the biggest up and coming american champ behind Mayweather at one point, didn't live up to the hype though. Still a very skilled & gifted fighter, his chin just can't hang a full 12 rounds. The Wright fight was his best performance IMHO.

I do agree that, although i wasn't a very big fan of his, i really don't want to see him keep taking unneccesary damage.

Bika would be way down on the cards and then Taylor would gas out late, stop doing anything, and be ko'd by Bika.

Taylor needs to fight a Billy Lyel type of opponent. Someone who's gonna give him some work but someone who isn't a big puncher...

Dunno what gift decisions you are talking about. The two closest fights he had post-Hopkins were Spinks and Wright. He deserved the nod in the Spinks fight, and I thought the draw result in the Wright fight was the most worthy scoring of a draw I've seen.

And as somebody mentioned, Pavlik beat him by decision. That was a close fight too, but the judges slided too far Pavlik's way, though I admit Pavlik did enough to win.

After the 2 Hopkins fight Taylor was never the same.

Why do ppl say that? Both were a boring fights where both men scarcely landed clean punches on each other.

He had a brain bleed.... never put him in there with a top level fight again please.

I see it now.. Judging by the level of competition Bute keeps fighting over and over again, Taylor will probably land that fight and be permanently injured by an Uppercut.
