I mean it actually costs money to follow boxing in America. Extra $15 subscription charge to HBO per month, extra $15 subscription charge to Showtime per month. And then all the big fights you have to pay an extra $60 for in standard def. Make that $70 for high definition.

To follow a dead sport. A sport where the average American would even have trouble giving you the name Floyd Mayweather as one boxer. It's a complete joke.
I understand completely what you're saying, but if you live in a city with a couple of professional sports teams who play in a stadium and arena, you - the taxpayer - have paid your fair share into sustaining these sports as well....even though they rake in billions regardless and really don't need our money they continue to put measures on ballots and ask us for money - even though we buy the tickets, merchandise, support the sponsors, watch the commercials, buy the food, pay for parking, etc, etc. Even if the team completely sux and you don't even watch the sport, you pay.

GBP seems to promote legal fouls in its PPV. Why else it's so consistent?

Couldn't miss a real fight when it's between a Mex & a Fil, that's a proven fact. So paying for Pac vs Marquez is value for money.

Too late Bob, every PPV main event this year has been pure ****. I hope December 3rd outsells November 12th, but nuthuggery won't end.

Both fighters will come to fight, unless Marquez pulls a 180.

Yesterday, Bob Arum didn't care about the fans. Today, he wants them to forget about 2 bad fights. Well Bob, Nov. 12th has a fighter facing a 40 y/o lumberjack to make him look good. It also has the biggest P4P hoax in boxing, Manny Pacquiao, defending his catchweight gained title at another catchweight. Apologize for that.

I wonder what his response will be if Pacquiao-Marquez ends with some stunt also.
