Roy would beat everyone from middleweight to heavyweight except Vitali Klitschko. I can see Roy taking the risk against the glass chinned Wladimir and using his speed to get under the jab or around the jab and landing a bomb on him and leaving him hurt on the canvas and then taking advantage of Wlads psyche when he is hurt.

Vitali is too tough and has a good chin so he doesnt beat him.

Calzaghe gets KO'd in that round that Jones dropped him in.

Haye gets sparked out too by something hes never faced, a faster more accurate fighter.

Roy was special, really special. He could have been the GOAT if he stayed at heavyweight and beat Tyson, Holyfield, and tried to take on Lewis but I think the size difference would have been way too much but damn he would have gotten all the credit in the world for trying!

Regaining the LHW championship AFTER WINNING a HW strap was a huge notch on the belt, and Bob did it as well... Roy needed to do it.

But really what's worse.... being knocked out in the rematch... or being forever remembered as the person who "ducked" the rematch.

I agree. Even as far as Roy has gone to destroy his legacy in the past few years, it will never erase the sheer awesomeness that defined his career during his prime. RJJ should have left after that fight but he didn't....it's just good that people remember him for what he was...a guy that was at one time, the most gifted athlete on the planet.

He had to come back down and fight Tarver. I know many believe he should have stayed at heavyweight, but coming back down and gutting his way through that first Tarver fight made a lot of people who wrongly thought he didn't have that heart stand up and admit they were wrong. There were more than a few people who had a whole new respect for RJ after that fight.

He did man up, but it's not like Tarver had a case for winning the first fight. He lost, and if Roy didn't fight him again, I would have completely supported it. He didn't have anything to prove to Antonio Tarver.
