It was 27&, and I suggest that you look up "promoters" on the internet so that you can have SOME idea as to what promoters have to do to earn their money. They spend much of it on the promotion itself, and if it doesn't do as well a they had forecast, they lose money.

It's mostly a speculation, , which, if promoted well, should DO well, but if it doesn't............!!

This PPV was the highest priced PPV in the history of the sport @ 69.99. If it did over 1 Million buys at that price in this bad economy, then I would consider those to be great numbers.

schaefer was able to estimate hopkins vs. dawson faster than floyd's star power. must be a publicity stunt to save face on floyd's failure

How much will Floyd earn from this after he pays the IRS?

              sounds right.

fat boy is usually pretty good with his estimates and sources and stuff.

i never got all the bs talk about ppv buys.

pac only did this much. floyd only did this much.

              850k , 900k , 1m , 1.2m......

              doesn't matter.

pac and floyd are doing monster numbers.

gotta remember , guys. 300-400k are considered very good numbers.

most of the big fights we have had recently do around that much.

ppv's of 500k and up are usually for just superstar fights.

1.2 million is really respectable, IMO.
