Weight training is what causes fatigue. Lean muscles are for endurance.

I'm sorry bro, I haven't been keeping up with the thread at all, I've actually been reading it backwards.. so just been replying to what I see.

And I also quoted the wrong post! ahh.. I meant to quote whoever said " They need more weight training in boxing ". Another mishap.. it's late, my fault.

Saying running does nothing for a persons legs is just absurdity at it's finest. I will leave it at that. Run uphill, hell, BIKE up hill.. tell me how those quads feel afterward.

Having a strong base would greatly benefit the boxer and definitely improve punching power.

              Any reason behind this?
His calfs aren't much bigger then floyds go look at the measurements...the fact also is...MANNY IS SHORT!!! his body is compact.

My problem is more with steady paced running rather then more intense runs such as hills. And the non proportionate body that boxers have.

I myself run hills about twice a week and they are one of my favorite exercises to do.

I told you already - stamina. And most of the boxers do sprints during the jogging. zzz
