Why is it called boxing day?

Thought it had something to do with the Chinese rebellion called "Boxers Day". The Chinese wanted all the foreigners out of the country.

No, Reyes does. The leather on them is so tough, cuts skin like a razor. There are these gloves that Erik Morales used to use from Japan that I heard were good, but I never used them.

Everyone jumps out of their windows with a pair of gloves on and slugs it out with their neighbors and bosses. It's quite a stress relieving day. Actually this was asked on Conan O Brian show the other day. It's about gifts being given in like, boxes
