Talk about an overreaction. This video gives virtually no insight. The only training videos that really give any information away are sparring videos and only unedited sparring videos against competitive partners. I'm a big Marquez fan and I'd love it if he turns this fight into a war like the first two fights, but for the time being the fight remains an intriguing mismatch. It's a mismatch because of the weight it's fought at, but it's still intriguing because of the history between the two fighters in the ring.

This whole thread smells of hardcore Pacquiao fans trying to hype up this fight and give extra value to the probable Pacquiao victory.

some do. but you would be blind not to see that marquez looked ripped and stronger now than when he was a flabby WW w/ floyd.

Ripped and stronger? Yes. Instantly competitive? No. Let's not forget that Marquez has slowed down since he last fought Pacquiao, going life and death with Diaz and Katsidis. He may be coming into this fight in better shape than against Mayweather but that doesn't mean that he's going to be anything like the Marquez we last saw against Pacquiao.

ppl are only saying what they see. that jmm look stronger. does it equate to beating pac? no.

skills don't go away. and if jmm gave pac hell before, he'd still have those skills to do it. will getting trimmer, stronger, help him use these skills? we'll find out. but JMM IS always competitive.

He is looking amazingly fast, sharp and strong. Way better than he looked training for the Floyd fight where he looked flabby, fatigued, slow and fat. Marquez is going to bring it. There will be war. Can't wait for the 247 this saturday this will be epic.
I only read the first page and here are three examples for you (not attacking the three people in question, they are entitled to their opinion, just as I am entitled to my opinion that they are overreacting to Marquez being in good shape). Saying that the fight just became credible, or that Marquez is going to be a handful, or that the fight is going to be a war based on a video of Marquez looking in-shape hitting a speed bag is an overreaction.

I hope they are right of course!
