IMO it's going to be a fight of the year candidate just like the first two. then after the fight the floydiots are going to say that floyd is going to smash pac because floyd had a much easier time with jmm. then the pacboys are going to say that pac is going to smash floyd because he ko'ed jmm (that is, if pac does). then the war between the camps of the turd sandwich and giant douche will continue.

I'll watch it, either on a stream or someone's house if a friend orders it, but it's not a fight I'm really pumped for.

I'm actually more pumped about Cotto-Margarito 2. I never thought I'd be looking forward more to a fight with a guy who was caught trying to load his gloves and whose last fight was over a year ago in which he got the holy **** kicked out of him, against a guy who also is on the decline....over the third fight in a trilogy where I had one guy winning each of their previous 2 (entertaining) fights by one point.

The reason you are probably not excited is because you are scared that your fighter will lose the fight. Scared that the boxer you praise is going into a fight that he will lose because everything is stacked against him weight, strength, age, and speed.

Consider this then what about the countless Pacquiao fans around the world who watched his career defining fights here in the U.S. The fights Pacquiao took against Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, and Juan Manuel Marquez in the Featherweight and Super Featherweight divisions? Do you think that those Pacquiao fans were scared too for their fighter? Damn right they were scared but they were also excited because their fighter was stepping up his competition against the best without any advantage or with a slight advantage.

Now, as the "biggest" Marquez fan you are not excited for you fighter? That is sad your fighter wants the biggest fight, wants the fight that he craves for, and the most challenging fight in his career at his age too. Damn, those are reasons enough to get nervous, scared, and also to be excited. This is the very definition of taking a risk. Marquez is risking everything just for this fight. His reputation and his career.

Just ask Sugar Shane Mosley about it.

Sugar Shane Mosley even though he chose to flee in his fight against Pacquiao. He knows that he faced a real champion not scared of getting hit and came to fight. He knows who Pacquiao is, regardless of those ****** Tweets he did after the fight.

Pacquiao never used PEDs everything he achieved in life he fought for it just like everyone who came from the bottom and all the way up.

I will cheer for Marquez in your behalf at the fight then.

I think this fight needs to be respected. As you look back this year, most anticipated fighters didnt turned out to produce a "good fight." The Klit/Haye, May/Ortiz, Hops/Chad, Pac/Moseley, etc were all worthless matches. Thank God, the Berto-Ortiz fight turned out well eventhough not a lot of fans are expecting too much for that fight. I am really hoping that this fight would surpass all the expectations because it might save "high profile" boxing entertainment for the year 2011. And Im looking forward to Cotto-Marg fight too. I think aside from MP-JMM that's the only "big name fight" out there that can entertain a lot of fans.

But I observe that some fans' has raised their expectations on how they want to watch a fight. No longer that they want to see a Pac fighting opponents as big as him. They want more, which is good because it shows how Pac's presence has influenced the taste of the crowd. I hope these fans see other fighters (e.g. Floyd Mayweather, Martinez, etc.) at the same level as well.
