Why did Khan duck the Maidana rematch?

I think this fight is gonna be a very aesthetically pleasing. Good mix of styles, it will be high contact, very good learning fight for khan, whilst still being dangerous.

It is the type of fight where khan will have to use technique and skill to land and avoid punches, as Peterson is a good all round fighter, very decent technically, speed, some pop, work rate, and can fight inside/outside.

Because there are so many good fights to be made in the division, and it was not a disputed decision, I am sure if maidana keeps winning, they will fight again in the future. Everyone said khan wouldn't fight maidana the first time...he did, everyone said he would avoid Judah and not fight such a dangerous puncher...he did. I am more than sure he would fight maidana again. It is not like pacquiao was very quick to fight Marquez in both rematches.

Yes I know, khan-maidana happened in dec 2010? Since then he has made a unification fight, and fought 3 top 10 guys. Well Mccloskey is prob slightly weaker, but that is good competition overall. He chased the Bradley fight, so can't blame him for that one. If maidana comes up to 147 and gets himself in position they can certainly fight again, I personally don't think it is gonna happen though as maidana will get beat sooner rather than later, not khans fault.
