    It does mean something/

It means you lost to another proffesional fighter. Maybe had a bad night, didn't prep well, the other one had a better night, maybe u cut weight too much and were drained, you blew up to much ect. There's nothing wrong with a loss to a proffesional fighter. There's nothing wrong with having "0" loses either. It just means you were able to defeat everyone that stepped in front of you, regardless if it was handpicked, a challenge, or any other scenario.

being undefeated at the top of the sport means a lot more than being a 200-0 hypejob in mexico.

The problem I have is with some ppl who think just because a fighter has a loss it reduces him and he is somehow less than he was before the loss, many times the opposite can be true and just because a fighter one night lost to another does not mean that fighter who won is in every case better or would win ever time.

obviously a loss means something, it means you got beat and thats not good.

that said losing isnt the end of the world, its a step backwards but if you got enough good wins to overshadow your losses you can be great regardless.

anyone can come up short, its how you comeback that decides your worth as a champion.
