I think it's a genuine love for the game, and an unwillingness to admit that he has to let it go.

I can imagine it would be hard... Being that's all you've known since you were 7 years old, and being one of the best in the entire sport for almost a decade... always having that attention, and that thrill... I can imagine it would very difficult to just let it go.

He does, he gave us fans plenty of entertaining memories with his amazing hand speed, reflexes, and unique style but that time has past and his gifts have obviously faded to a point where he is in real danger.

Someone close to him needs to sit him down and try to convince him to get out of the game before something terrible happens.
