Whats going on with the Heavyweight division these days?

Any new prospects that look promising for the future? Other than Wlad and Vitali, I have not heard much about this division in a long time. Its a shame, I liked the days of big heavyweight fights.

To be real i dont see anyone beating the Klits. They're just too big, have too much reach and most importantly they know how to use their reach.

Larry Merchant did say however that if he was 50 years younger he would beat both their asses at the same time

      :Merchant:
hey man, whats going on? Lately I've been posting on here again, I'm happy to be around again. LOL@ Larry smilie. I agree, the problem with Vitali/Wlad is they are too big for most heavyweights.

As long as the U.S.'s BEST Heavyweight sized athletes continue to no longer compete in the sport, and as the athletic community of the U.S. along with the general public's interest in boxing continues to wane, the division will forever be mired in shit and will remain a disgrace and pathethic shell of it's formerly glorious self.

          It's dead again really.

Haye brought a little attention back for a short time, but ultimately the Klitschko's are too big for anybody else in the division. It's kinda like heavyweight's against super-heavyweight's.

            so true this is.....

If they both were Tyson's size which he was a pretty small heavyweight stature wise, would the Klits (abv.) have accomplished a quarter of what they have?

lol at this excuse-making American ******.

The American HW champs from the past weren't even real world champs, they were all frauds because they never competed against the superior Soviets/Eastern Europeans in the pros.

All of the best American heavyweights have been destroyed by the Klitschkos and other Eastern Europeans.

The same thing is happening in many other weight classes too.

Soviets/Eastern Europeans weren't allowed to turn pro until the 1990s because of the cold war/iron curtain.

Now Soviets/Eastern Europeans are allowed to turn pro and we're already taking over boxing and are dominating the higher weight classes.

We're also dominating the amatuers. Most of those great amatuers will become great pros.

This is just the beginning of the Eastern European domination.

              NFL/NBA is a WEAK EXCUSE.

There are tons of potential Eastern European Heavyweight Boxers who are doing Combat Sambo, MMA, Kickboxing, Hockey, Olympic Wrestling, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Worlds Strongest Man Competitions, etc.

America isn't the only country on the planet that has other sports you excuse-making crybabies.

              Eastern European fighters are superior.

Vitali and Wlad are the two most dominant fighters of all time.

Either Klitschko beats any HW from any era.

Either Klit beats any HW of any era...as evidenced by Wlads historic victories against Lamon Brewster, Ross Puritty, and Corrie Sanders...and Vitali's legendary wins against Lennox Lewis and Chris Byrd...
