premature wtf anybody who think this fight was stop to soon dont know crap about boxing the guy was going to get ko. THE MAN HAD BLOOD IN HIS EYES HE COULDNT SEE ALL THE PUNCHES COMING . the REF stood right to the side and saw he couldnt see not only that just befor the refe stop the fight Linares looks like he trips over his own feet not a good sign .

I am sometimes baffled by what people see in the ring. I swear, every time it's like people automatically think a person was getting beat to a pulp when a person has a good round.

I mean. He got hit with some big shots round 11. He dished some out himself before going defensive. He had an intelligent guard up and blocked/deflected many of the shots. Even continued to evade some shots.

Yet people still somehow see a beating. I just don't get it. I seriously don't. It's dumbfounding how people just completely neglect the fact that many punches hit his arms in the last flurry.

Linares was even slipping a punch when the ref stopped the fight. He was getting tagged but like some have stated, he wasn't out on his feet. If he was going to lose they should've let him GTFO and go "out" on his terms.

It wasn't like he was taking a savage, one sided beating like Margarito vs Pacquiao. Smoger would've let Linares continue and I think he had a 50/50 chance of surviving the DeMarco onlaught.

The fight wasn´t stopped because Linares was being hit too much in the last flurry, it was stopped because prior to that he was taking too much punishment and responding bad to it. He stepping back that way and standing there on survival mode gave the ref the excuse he was waiting for.

nothing wrong with this sentiment but I think if you're that ref and you go a split second too long and a guy like Linares becomes injured as a result of that it's a heavy responsibility

I think I said it in I would rather see a ref go just short of a good stoppage and have us debate the merits of it than too long and have us debate whether the ref ruined the career of said fighter

let em rematch so demarco could bust em up again, worse this time. linares has power but not enough to hurt or scare demarco. linares will was getting broken kind of like margarito vs cotto

He is right, his face wasn't even busted up because he was picking off the punches. He was only bloody not swollen.
