Ok look i dont have a problem with MArtinez fighting Pirog. I saw his one fight and i thought he had pop in his fists but for so many to say that Martinez is ducking him is absurd. This guy made his name by beating russian club fighters and beat Jacobs a day after or the day of his grandmothers death. Then what has he done since then? That was over a year ago and i havent heard anything since then. Why doesnt he fight the other guys to get the top guy in the division. Hell hes not even ranked in the top 5 of the division but Martinez is afraid of him. STFU

You going by what is said and not what actually happened. Macklin isn't proven, hell Sturm isn't proven. Who has Sturm beat since Castillejo(who he went 1-1 with and was average at best). If you really want to go that route we can. Sturm claim to fame is getting by a fat small Oscar.

Yes Pirgo is deserving and for some reason or another Martinez would rather make fights with lesser guys like Lee, like Barker then even entertain the idea, not even sit down and discuss a possible fight with Pirog. That's what mind boggling out of the whole thing.

The reason why people think he's ducking Pirog. Is because he's willing to fight anyone even guys who are lesser than Pirog as a fighter or as a name. While not even entertain the thought of a Pirog showdown.

Why the hell wouldn't Sergio fight Pirog for $3 million? That's literally double his highest pay day ever. Whoever is the matchmaker at Dibella promotions (is it Lou himself?) must see something that he really doesn't like about Pirog's style and how he would match up with Sergio.

How do you come to that conclusion? Dibella already made it clear the plan is Macklin on St. Patty's day in New York, most likely MSG. Floyd just BOMBED on PPV against an unknown in Ortiz but now GBP and HBO are going to throw another $25 mil down the drain so he could fight a guy who gives most of his tickets away for free and whose HBO ratings are never reported?



He's just not going to fight Pirog, has nothing to do with the vacation king. He would probably make 'only' $3 mil for that fight as well w/ no PPV upside, so that's not an excuse.
