Who else isn't excited for Pacquiao/Marquez III?

Huge "Dinamita" fan myself, but I just can't get amped for this one. Maybe 24/7 will change that, but Pacquiao should've given Marquez his rubbermatch about a year after the rematch, IMO. It seems to me he's just been waiting on Marquez to get old, and with the added weight (we've seen how ineffective Marquez is past 135lbs), I can't honestly see this fight as being a fair one.

That said, I'll be watching and supporting Marquez. I just can't get myself amped up over it. Seems to me Pacquiao just wants to finally be able to look himself in the mirror and say "I beat Marquez" with a straight face.

At this weight it is a mismatch.

With that being the case, I can't get hyped for it at all. The first 2 were great, this one has been set-up to be a beat down.

IMO, Marquez is always to give Pac trouble no matter what weight they're in. Marquez only looked ineffective against Floyd because he was the aggressor the entire fight, a style he's not used to. Marquez is used to opponents coming at him, not the other way around. I'm not saying that Marquez is going to beat Pac, but I think that this is going to be a war like the first two.

I feel like that before every fight when its considered one of these "cherry picks" but 24/7 really does wonders and i usually end up ordering the PPV. For example the Marg, Mosley and Ortiz PPVs.

Even tho you know there is a 95% chance of a blow out, you dont wanna miss that possible 5% that the underdog pulls out the upset. At least thats how i always think and end up regretting not ordering or going to a fight. For example, a last minute decision told me not to go see Berto-Ortiz live cuz i thought Berto would blow him out and really regret that

That's about it. Pacquiao just wants the fans to see him beat Marquez finally. He couldn't do it at 126-130 4 years apart and 4 pounds apart. This is now almost another 4 years after the rematch and not 4 pounds, but a 14 pound difference from their last fight.

It wouldn't surprise me if Marquez made it the full 12. As someone else already said, Marquez gives Pacquiao trouble at pretty much any weight. And he's such an intelligent fighter, and amazingly capable of surviving offensive swarms and knockdowns, it wouldn't surprise me if he went the distance.

That said, I'm unsure if I'll bet on it going the distance yet or not. I want to see what kind of shape Marquez looks to be in at the weigh in first.
