haha yeah. Dewey fought like you'd expect a 50+ year old fighter to.

Not likely. it was a "setup". Pure public relations because the poor guy had been wrongfully d imprisoned for 26 years and Hopkins arranged the fight.....or was supposed to have. I think it was a PR connection to Hopkins' own imprisonment. The opponent, another Hopkins, was deliberately not punching, and missing etc. and when Bozella looked so bad that he could lose, he deliberately began spitting out his mouthpiece knowing that he'd lose points for it.

I saw it live... It was'nt the most skilled fight but you knew it wasn't going to be. That's not what made it a memorable fight the fact that a 52 year old guy who's been in prison half his life off of a judicial mistake had his first and last pro fight on a ppv undercard is what made this a fight to remember. The guy he fought Hopkins was a mental midget. He spit his mouth guard out numerous times. Dewey has heart that's for sure
