    Really, I can't see it.
    this is was juyjuy wrote..
    >>Otis Grant was a blown-up middleweight when he fought Jones Jr..whereas Jones Jr was a roided-up middleweight>>

It is true Grant was WBO middleweight champ when he fought Jones, he jumped two divisions for the fight.

I don't know if Jones had taken steroids but he was a full blown lightheavyweight, no excuses because Grant took the fight when he didn't have to but that Grant wasn't a true indication of the fighter in a lower weight division!

He has to fight Librado Andrade for the chance to get robbed by Markus Beyer. Otis grant is a really great, game fighter who always come prepare but he has the most boring defensive style i've ever seen! He has no chance against Lacy or Calzaghe but against all those other belt-holder he have a chance, if the judges are fair.

But if you are looking for the real deal in montreal, go to the download section and look at my man Jean Pascal! Blazing speed and power!

Otis grant is a talented fighter. He's well-schooled, has respectable power but I don't think he can beat Calzaghe or Lacy. He has a shot at beating all the guys at super middleweight for sure though, if there is no fishy business with the referee's.

I've seen Jean Pascal fight he is definetly someone to look out for. Along with Lucian Bute the canadians have some good prospects that could do some damage on the international scene.

There is one thing worst then hangin from Eubanks nut sack and that is hangin from JuyJuys nutsack. Im not sayin from one comment most threads JuyJuy makes are against Roy Jones sayin how he fought nobodies i think he is angry that Eubank was not marketable and that he was only 1 of 2 viewers of Eubanks reality show

Otis Grant was in his prime when he fought RJJ, and RJJ humiliated him (and that was with RJJ taking it easy because he liked Otis).

Having said that, I like Grant (because of his ntaionality and his courage), and I'm totally rooting for him. But no, he has no chance against Lacy, and only a chance against Calzaghe if Joe is rusty or ill-prepared...

Grant was in his prime yes, but he was a natural middleweight, and he wasn't fighting at his normal weight.

I figure Grant thought he stood a chance against Roy so he could make a name for himself and make more money in his career where he has been unknown to the average boxing public.

Otis Grant is a VERY WELL SCHOOLED BOXER and a true world class professional with some very, very solid wins in his pro career like Rhodes, Rodney Toney, Hardrock Green, Willie Monroe, Gilbert Baptiste, Bo James, Danny Sherry, Derrick James (Otis also got robbed in a 12 round draw with then unbeaten Lonnie Bradley). He was a 160 pounder, PERIOD, when he fought RJ at 175. I have known Otis since we were amateurs (we even fought each other back in 1988) and Otis was as high as #2 in the world at 165 pounds back then. Very underrated professional fighter.
