Former undisputed junior middleweight champion Ronald "Winky" Wright is not buying Bernard Hopkins' side of the story, where the veteran claims to have been pleading with the referee to continue fighting on Saturday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Chad Dawson (31-1, 18KOs) stopped Hopkins (52-6-2, 32KOs) in the second round to capture the WBC light heavyweight title.

he actually landed directly on his elbow of the injured arm.

and the theory he would quit after 1.5 rounds of 5 total punches landed none being significant doesn't add up to me. I think he was hurt, buying some time, the ref never explained he would lose by TKO, he asked hopkins to continue hopkins says "with one arm, yes" then the ref says no you cant and walks away! lol then proceeded to leave the arena. terrible reffing job. Should have gave a couple minutes to sort everything out.
