It gets on my nerves how Hopkins keeps claiming to be great but he always needs to milk how old and fragile he is. If Hopkin body just can't handle it anymore he should just retire

I don't want to see a fight decided this way. I can't stand Floyd Mayweather but I wouldn't want to see him lose a fight in this fashion; no champ should lose like this. He separated his shoulder and from what I can see on youtube he landed awkwardly. the fight should be ruled a no contest and Hopkins should get the chance to fight again if he chooses. Even if Dawson knocked Hopkins cold, I don't think it would hurt his legacy. Dawson is a talented fighter and will be champ again regardless. Both fighters and fans deserve a better ending than this.Comment

how can any boxer WANT to get a title and keep it from shuving a man to the ground and barely fighting 2 rounds of boxing,2 scrappy ugly rounds.
dawson aint no champ,hes a chump,if he gonna keep a title like that then he is lacking and afraid of proving himself worthy,which he clearly isnt worthy of being a champion with any belt from that kind of performance and stunt.Comment

Fact: Jean Pascal beat Chad Dawson.
Fact: Bernard Hopkins Beat Jean Pascal
Fact: Dawson won nothing on October 15.
Fact: Dawson will be back in Canada and get beat again by Pascal. That's where the money is and Chad is just another big mouth who lacks authentic talent and drive.
Dawson is also a terribly disrepectful prizefighter who just earned his biggest payday for simply being a goon. Everything he has in the bank right now is due to the generous opportunity Hopkins gave him. Dawson should have apologized like a man for going WWE on the Champ. He get's the Mayweather award for lousy sportmanship.
Conclusion: This decision WILL be overturned and Hopkins either completes a Pascal trilogy or retires as Light Heavyweight Champion.
Epilogue: The name Chad Dawson will be a footnote in two years.
Bernard Hopkins will be a first ballot Hall of Fame Inductee and remembered as an all time great.

Clear difference. This Hopkins is more wiser as a result of experience.
But that B-Hop packed a punch, and had more meat on his body.
The current version of B-Hop is more loosy goosy. Still crafty and slick but not that like that version, he was sitting down on his punches and throwing with bad intentions.Comment

Live by the Sword, DIE by the Sword. HOP should retire and do a favor to Boxing. leaning on top of the young lion was just one of his dirty tactics and back fired on his dirty azz. GOOD!! I'm tired of watching him beating guys with his shoulders, headbutts, holding, stepping and elbows.
We should give Dawson a Nobel price for getting rid of the old dirt bag once for all and screaming: you ain't no gangsta!! just a Puzzy, an old Puzzy! was classic.
