He fight with Chris John to try to get a win over a undefeated fighter to have as a bargaining chip. It didn't work out that way, but that's what he went to
indochina to do.
The argument that he was scared is ******, meaning you're ******, because they went LIFE and DEATH AGAIN in 08, which WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED if Marquez was indeed the least bit INTIMIDATED by Manny Pacquiao.
If there was any cause to believe anyone was trepid about having a rematch, it's Pacquiao, considering that he had more to lose (and since he was quoted as saying "THIS BUSINESS IS OVER" When asked when fight 3 was gonna happen after fight 2, which is a lie, as we know now, since fight 3 is going to happen, roughly in a month.)
Think before you post, or at least use the search button before you post some dumb **** that's already been discussed.Comment

Agreed.
If Pacquiao had any balls whatsoever he would have given Marquez the rubbermatch no later than a year after the rematch. It's clear to objective boxing fan he waited years for Marquez to get older, and now he's having him gain weight, as well.
Marquez will be older, and fatter, and Pacquiao should beat him with ease this time. Finally Pacquiao will be able to look himself in the mirror and say to himself : "I beat Juan Manuel Marquez".
Farce of a fight. I still wouldn't be surprised if Marquez gives him trouble, though. Even as a fat old man. Pacquiao always struggles with legit technical boxers.Comment
