    Demarco vs Linares.

Thats what boxing is all about.Linares putting on an exciting display off boxing great handspeed foot and head movement but Demarco never gave up and slowly turned it around.Jorge showed great heart blasting away with Tony late on even though it was not in his best interests will be without a doubt be back and i still believe he will be a p4p star but for now Demarco will move onto bigger things.Great fight

Best fight of the night. Demarco is lucky that Linares's face began to fall apart because he looked idiotic in there for quite some time. But his finishing skills are second to none.

Great fight indeed but bull**** at the same time.

Linares was just dominating Demarco like nothing even with the nose gash. But for some damn reason Linares acts like he's superman and he only had 1 more round to go! SHM

I have to say if it was not for the cuts Linares woulda won a decent ud but still Demarco made those cuts and then took advantage off them.Linares is a superb fighter will be back without a doubt still think he will be a big big name in boxing in time to come.Agree with you Bush Tony was pretty impressive in finishing him off.

This is the exact same fight as the Andy Lee vs Brian Vera |. Where the boxer is outboxing the opponent silly and wants to be a macho man and stand n trade and lose the fight.

If rematched, Linares wins easily. Not impressed with Demarco at all. He is real basic and lucky Linares wanted to show off for the fans and paid the price. Roach doesnt do well with boxers only punchers and Linares is not a puncher.

Made the night totally worth it...and I dont think Linares at any point was dominating..sure his punch output was higher he tech landed more shots but the Land % was close enough...Demarco pretty much landed somethan after each Linares combo wich shows he was ready for that kind of thing...good boxing all around in that fight..he was outmatched in speed and power and did what he needed...smart

Linares failed twice. He'll fail again when he steps up.

He's one of those guys with a lot of talent but not with the same heart as a slick african american or an eastern european dominator who just refuse to lose.

i wanted him to let his hands go more but if you look at it, outsside of ignoring the body, he fought the perfect fight

hes not athletic enough to box with and sustain activity levels simmilar to linares

he waited for him to slow down and selected his punches carefully. clearly it was intentional.

once his linares legs stopped moving he let his hands go

also, i'm 99% sure demarco is naturally right handed (converted southpaw)
but his best punch was the left hand down the center// at the chest

it landed flush on linares face every time he threw it late in the fight

he's a very hard puncher. linares is a terrific boxer with limitations in his durability. no way he becomes a p4p guy, bros

he's young and has already been stopped twice. he's young but he's basically done developing physically. and i dont see him overhauling his style with any success.

                terrific fight
i'd love to see a rematch

sad to see it get tossed aside by the crazy ending // horribly dissapointing main event

glad i ... ahem... found this one. saved me 60 bucks

Who Demarco? Nah, I thought he should have pumped the jab, it looked to me like he was trying to counter & was just being outhustled by a wide a$$ margin before Linares's face fell apart. But Demarcos finishing skills trump any thing that he didn't overcome in the first half of the fight.

you are seriously underestimating the amount of work linares was putting in boxing that way and how his gifts are the only reason he could keep it up for so long. that's what distanced him from demarco early

if demarco threw more punches earlier without investing in the body linares would have been able to pick them off (which he was doing all night)

believe me, if he could have thrown more punches he would have

not to mention he was getting beaten to the punch and his jab was getting picked off with combinations

he had no inention of winning a decision
they would have robbed him anyway (goldenboy card with a gary shaw fighter)

dude fought the perfect fight, considering his limited athletic quality and how unlikely it would be to win a deicison.

                    **** the damn drums
demarco vs rios would be an all out war!
i'mnot sure who would come forward. i think demarco might try and box for the first half of the fight and then drown him late again.
