How does everyone else feel about the rise in PPV prices??

I already purchased this bout, and as much as this sucks that PPV prices are rising, at least the number, per year, is going down.

We have only had 5 this year with Pacquiao vs Mosley, Mayweather vs Ortiz, Dawson vs Hopkins, Pacquiao vs Marquez and Margarito vs Cotto II, so maybe it's not too bad paying a little more for each PPV.

The funny thing I'm still contemplating getting tonight's ppv because I'm going through boxing withdrawal...it can't be worse than the 4 round mayweather -Ortiz can it? I forked over 70 bucks for the hd version of that and felt like I got had on that purchase

I blame the idiot fans that buy them. Once a crappy matchup ppv flops, they'll learn to put on qua;ity. But if people pay to watch 1 superstar fighter smash an overmatched opponent, it's the fans fault. I will say this though, Dawson-Bhop is a worthy ppv.

if nobody buys them then they will stop putting most good fights on ppv

its getting crazy they would improve there numbers if they would lower it, what sucks worse is that even if you go to a bar / hooters they drinks are so expensive that its the same as buying home.

I gladly pay $70 for HD PPVs when I feel they are worth it or at least if I find them interesting according to my preferences. But hell no way I'm paying $70 for a 46 old fighter fighting a boring unpredictable heartless weirdo.

If it it was $30 and they paid me $10... I MIGHT think about it.
