Degale is going no where under his trainer.
    Does booth still train groves???

    • DeGale will be decent, but he doesn't have the potential to be special IMO.

Seeing them both at close quarters earlier in their pro careers, I thought Frank Gavin was the better bet. But that guy just doesn't live the life, so he'll fail altogether unless he undergoes some kind of attitude transplant.

He's nothing like Witter. The only thing they have in common in switching stances.

      • Is Bellew related to Juan Manuel Lopez?

        • Good fight. Thought DeGale won but obviously didn't look great. Good body work and fought on the inside well at times, but got caught bad in the 4th and 5th.

                  • chunky looks like he's got a lot left to learn

he takes breaks at dumb points in the fight and lays around a bit inside (when he's actually a solid infighter

but i liked his heart tonight
                    and he's certainly got talent

he's clearly been boxing for a very long time

He quite arguably won the first fight.

There's nothing really to say he can't get a quicker start in the rematch and win the fight, even under Jim McD (who I agree is mediocre and a bit of a ****, besides).
