    Mayweather-Martinez...

    http://onthebeak.com/2011/10/15/rumo...ced-stage-774/

This is only a rumor, but this site was the first to break the story about the Ariza video where he talks about drug testing with Mayweather and what not. If, and it's a big "IF", this story is true, do you think it's smart for Floyd to fight Sergio, and would you want to see it???

floyd can beat sergio, sergio got touched up by barker for ****'s sake. barker confused sergio with a ****in high guard.

yes I wanna see it. floyd can't get credit for beating someone he doesn't actually fight in the ring.

It's the next best fight out there after Mayweather-Manny.

It would definitely be a smart move because he would probably win, which would raise his stock immensely -- or, even if he lost, he'd at least shake that reputation as someone who avoids tough fights. It's just a shame that Sergio looked more mortal in his last fight as it's given everyone an opportunity to stake their "overrated" claims early.

Yeah. Why not? Would definitely be good for Floyd's own legacy, win or lose.

I think Martinez is no match for Floyd. He looked ordinary against a journeyman Barker. Martinez should avenge his loss to Margarito first to prove than he is the real deal.

His source is from the same link I posted in here and those quotes are from twitter. He doesn't know anymore than anyone else does.

Fight Margarito who hasn't looked good in a fight in how long? Since he last beat Cotto.

Margarito lost his focus and will to win because of the handwrap scandal. I think he has recovered now from the incident and more dangerous than ever before.

Personally I think he tried to show off against Barker and it didnt work. I doubt he will come in like that for a big fight.

You think? Martinez looked ordinary for a fight, but otherwise good prior to that and Margarito has looked ordinary for going on 3 years now and you believe that Martinez has to prove himself against Margarito somehow? There's 3 years of evidence to support that Margarito might be slightly past it. He beats or at least puts up a competitive fight against Cotto then we can talk about the Martinez-Margarito rematch.
