"DRUG TESTING NOT AN ISSUE" = NO RANDOM BLOOD TESTS. Another Arum/Pac smokescreen?

I have been seeing this carefully worded statement used by Bob Arum for weeks on end now, and just recently a thread with Pacquiao responding "it's not a problem" to a drug testing question was just posted.

What does that empty statement even mean??

"Drug testing is not an issue" means simply this... it's not an issue for Team Arum. They have refused to take random blood tests up until the day of the fight and is no longer a neogitating point. IT IS OFF the table.

Pacquiao apologists have interpreted this to mean that Arum and Pac have agreed to full random blood testing, and there is no evidence of this at all. Arum has masterfully worded an ambigious statement (and coached Pacquiao) in order to mislead the public once again as only a schooled Harvard lawyer could do.

Why won't one of the cowards in the media simply ask "So Pacquiao has agreed to random blood tests up until the day of the fight?" when Arum spews this nonsense. I guarantee you Arum will repeat the same line again without a direct yes or no. IT IS UP TO A MEDIA PERSONALITY TO EXPOSE HIM BY PRESSING HIM ON THIS QUESTION NON-STOP UNTIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.

    Doug Fischer?
    Pedro Fernandez?
    Steve Kim?
    Tony Paige?
    Dan Rafael?
    Tim Smith?

Why won't anyone take Arum or Pacquiao to task for their shady answers, and force a clear direct response?

Does anyone have a single quote from Pacquiao Arum or anybody within the camp which isn't some pre-rehearsed "testing is not an issue" platitude??? A statement that Pacquiao will take full random/blood tests up until the day of the fight?

    No more lies from Arum.

Desperate? Arum keeps using the same line. When someone sticks to a single statement when answering a question it's virtually always scripted. Politicians do this all the time.

We have yet to hear Arum or Pacquiao state CLEARLY that he's willing to take full random blood testing. We've only heard that it's "not an issue" when asked, and as I explained above "not an issue" could easily mean that it's not an issue because they are done arguing/negotiating on this point.

I agree with this. I've been raising the same point in many of these Random Testing related threads.

It seems as if Pacquiao's English always deteriorates when Random Testing is brought up. Even in the latest video, he seemed to have a good grasp of the English language, up until the point where Testing was brought up. Then he freezes.

He needs to go on record that he understand what Random Testing means and that he agrees to it. Then Floyd can get off of talking about, "Take the Test if you got nothing to hide", mantra as well, which I'm getting tired of hearing.

I'm not on either guys side. I'd like to see the fight get made and it's as if these two camps are from Alternate Universes, not communicating their views clearly.

Arum has said testing has been a non issue for the last 1.5 years. I believe this because the 2nd negotiations almost resulted in a fight until mayweather went on vacation.

Furthermore, keith kizer already indicated that pac was willing to do unlimited testing if it was conducted / required by the commission.

                As you don't want to accept pac's statement, i might as well ask;

What does mayweather mean when he says "Take the test"

He didn't say "Take the olympic style drug test [which isn't even olympic style] conducted by USADA, with no blood and urine cutoff date"

It's just "take the test" :O
