I'm with ya' except I don't have Nonito KOing Gamboa as anywhere near a sure thing.

I do, however, think that Donaire/Gamboa is maybe the most exciting matchup that could be made currently.

No doubt Roach is a great trainer, but he's become a buffoon in the press in recent years.

I think if Donaire makes 126 strong & healthy he smashes Gamboa bro. Now don't get me wrong Gamboa was born extremely gifted with speed & reflex, but he reminds me of Roy. One day someone is gonna touch that chin that he leaves so out there. Then it's a wrap, Donaire can do that.

I don't know how to do the links stuff,(I'm not that computer litterate). But Fe fist handled that pretty well & I thank him for that. But yes, Roach did try to **** on Donaire who starched winning champions. Takes a lotta nerve to do that.

Homie you know why. Roach gets away with saying a lot of bull**** because of his sickness. Dude is a great trainer(altho I think he is overrated) but people(boxing media) needs to call on his bull**** like they do everybody else.

Crazy to say that the Vic and Montiel KOs were lucky punches but i think people are getting a lil carried away by saying Donaire will move up to 126 and blow Gamboa away.To say Gamboa is china chinned is ridiculous at this stage all off his kds were flash kds becuase off him being overly aggresive.These days Gamboa has become far more balanced in his offense and is a beast i think he beats Nonito

More about possible resentment toward Donaire and/or Garcia or that Garcia is the front runner for the TOTY, less about Donaire being a "threat" to a P4P ranking.

Donaire threw a subtle shot at Roach by mentioning his choosing Garcia as a trainer (presumably over Roach). Roach would've loved to recruit a fighter the caliber of Donaire, but Garcia was chosen over him.

His gripe was with Nonito's opponent's trainer's. The left hook shouldnt have been a surprise for Montiel. It should be no surprise for anyone at this point, yet they keep falling for it.

Also, if Montiel didnt beat Hasegawa, he was pretty much done. I dont believe he was on anyones P4P during that time either. Suddenly Nonito beats him and gets the #2 P4P nod? That ain't right. IMO Agbeko and Mares and Darch would beat the fight out of Montiel. So Nonito gets credit for beating the least threteniing of those guys AND is leaving the division after his fight with a blown up 5'3 flyweight?
