Boxing has really fallen off bad

I feel sometime besides on TV im like the only kid that boxes nobody i go to school with or chill with even cares about boxing.

I remember writing a paper about boxing and after I was done my teacher was like i stopped Watching boxing after 1988 and then everbody was like you should become a UFC fighter it made me sick to my stomach.

Another day there was this party and my boy was like a man are you going i was like heck no Mayweather/Mosley fight tonight and im ordering it you want to come over and watch he was like who is mayweather and mosley left me in shock.

Boxing has fallen off thats a shame we need a fighter that is a Heavyweight and knocks people out to get boxing back mainstream.

The popularity in the states surely has declined, thanks in no small part to boxing not being on network TV. Technical skills have declined too, a lack of teaching.

The sport is still awesome regardless. In the past 5 years, for instance, we had one of the greatest rivalries ever in Vazquez-Marquez. For action, skill-level, and drama, you could argue that before their fourth fight, that it was the best trilogy ever. There's been other great fights as well.

Boxing is unique, so even when the popularity and technique is down compared to before, there's still going to be great things to experience for the fans.

That's just the internet for you.

I'm pretty confident that if the internet and boxing forums were popular throughout history, that there would be a lot of criticism and negativity then too.

I can imagine how much hatred would be spewed at Larry Holmes during the late stages of his title reign.

I think boxing is back compared to 2010 and now with the internet I remember getting the Ring magazine and getting all the boxing info there and I found out about Boxingscene.com After the Mosley, Margarito fight their was so much drama going on I didn't start posting till this year boxing not dead it just had a heart attack and it's very much alive.
