Would You Approve Of Floyd-Sergio At 152?

I've enjoyed Sergio's fights like any real boxing fan. Was aghast at seeing him robbed in the Cintron and (to a lesser extent) Williams fights, but he needs to gather his lil nuts up into his hands and go up to 168 where there are plenty of good fights for him.

Meh....152 isn't terrible...155 for the MW title is fine too. People make too much of a big deal about catch-weights. And, really this trend of complaining about catch-weight. Has only been happening recently with Pac. Really catch-weights and catch-weight for titles were happening before Pac had a pro fight. And, people didn't really complain. Because, it made great fights happen.

I rather see Floyd vs Martinez at 152 or 155 then not seeing it at all.

I mean if you giving me a choice to see the fight happening or not to see it. I rather see it. And, if a catch-weight it's the only way I can see it then so be it.

Plus we have day before weigh-ins. I would understand the disdain for catch-weights if was same day weigh-in. I would get it...But, with day before weigh-in with the fighter having ample time to re-hydrate himself. Then catch-weight fights are not so bad...I guarantee Martinez would be above 160 in the ring. So what's the issue?

I feel that if you want to eliminate catch-weight fights, then same day weigh-in is the way to go.

Just like how Pac and Floyd shouldn't fight at a weight-class that they don't belong in, same with Martinez.

So all this nuts gathering is ridiculous. You can't blame anyone for not fighting at a weight they aren't comfortable in.
