Regardless of who wins this fight, respect has to be given to both camps. Each are training hard to prepare for this battle. That can only mean FOTY candidate on top of an already promising undercard. People, show your respect for fighters that understand what it takes to give the fans their money's worth.

I don't know what fight some of you were watching. Cotto was clearly outboxing that punk for the fight 6 rds. I gotta commend cotto, Sh** he made it through 6 big ones with plaster digging into his face and ribs. Now that's a warrior! Cotto will redeem himself come Dec 3! “It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.”

Margarito is looking good early but I am still rooting for Cotto as he has more upside from their last fight and dont repeat the same mistakes...

War Margarito?...Crazy... even if I was Mexican, and I know plenty of Mexicans who feel the same way, I couldn't cheer this coward on. NO proof he cheated Cotto, fine, but Proof he cheated Mosley, c'mon. Nationalism is a disease. Others aren't even Mexican, they just love to bash on Puerto Ricans, go figure. Regardless, NOBODY seems to factor in the fact that boxing IS 75% mental. Margs went into that first fight and left a different, man, just as Cotto. None has been the same since. Margs went into the fight with plaster -- common sense = you don't cheat the guy (Mosley) who lost to the guy you just destroyed (Cotto), without cheating -- with plaster comes the state of mind that all you have to do is land and land and take shots but soon you will have hands of steel and they will wear your opponent down. Cotto hurt this dude, he just didn't have a mental edge. Look at the fight and tell me they didn't land bombs on each other. Margs knew the plaster was working, it pushed him more. Cotto broke Pacs eardrum and rocked his body, he hits hard. Nobody can break Clottey, Pac didn't pound on him that bad and when Clottey let his hands go he rocked Pac - and He KO'd an admittedly washed bum who fought his entire career heavier than Cotto so don't come with that where's his power LATELY ****. You can see he hurt Margs, his cheating ass doesn't have to admit it, no surprise there. With plaster in your hands your confidence would be supreme, strategy easy. Look at some of Margs' supporters reasons for him losing to Mosley - his mentality, being caught cheating screwing with his head, LOL. Ironic, huh? The SAME may be applied to the mental edge that his plaster (and cheating) gave him. I see some haters and it makes me laugh. I support Cotto yeah, but it's not even bc I'm Puerto Rican; one of my favs of all time is Oscar, who I think beat Tito. But many of you guys don't see this objectively. Keep hating, we'll see what happens in December.

Looking good. Hopefully Cotto and Marg can give us another FOTY war.

Based on Cotto's decision on the trainer and sparring partners I favor Margarito to stop him again.
