Retires, bit dissapointed, despite his mouth and claims, he was a good fighter. Boxing will miss him.

He's always said he'd retire on this day.

I have extreme doubts boxing will miss this dude. He'll be remembered by not showing up in the biggest fight of his career.

David Haye was never the undisputed cruiserweight champion. He was only in TWO cruiserweight title fights, and he ducked Steve Cunningham.

He received a gift decision in the Valuev fight, despite setting a record for fewest punches thrown in a 12 round fight.

He didn't throw a single punch in the first round of his PPV fight with Audley, because he bet on a round 3 KO.

He bragged about how he was going to KO Wlad, then cancelled the first fight with two weeks notice. He said he'd fight Vitali, then backed out. Then he finally fought Wlad, and hardly threw a punch - and then made the excuse of a broken little toe.

Only a fool would miss David Haye.

Only a fool would believe Haye is actually retiring today. It's just mind games to force Vitali into talks.

He was and still has Potential to be the most exciting HW, the division is truely pathetic right now.

LOL , the only fight he's been beaten by the better man is the Wlad fight. Wlad was far too good for him. He beat Valuev fair and square, how does Valuev have a case, he didn't land a glove on Haye. Anyone that thinks Haye should open up against someone like Valuev is just utterly clueless, the man was a beast.

Haye has enough money to fund a lavish lifestyle from now to old age no doubt. Valuev, Harrison and Wlad must have made him over ten million net.
